Welcome to our website, THE 34TH REIGATE (MEADVALE) EXPLORER UNITS.
The 34th Reigate (Meadvale) Scout group was started in February 1930 as the 34th Reigate (St John's boys School). In December 1935 the group moved to Meadvale and became the 34th Reigate (Meadvale).The original Meadvale group was started in 1915 as the 16th Reigate (Meadvale). The Group started Cubs in 1935 and Beavers in 1987. During the years the Group had Senior Scouts and Rover Scouts. In January 2003 the Explorer Unit was started. The Group currentley still has Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. The Group celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2005.This year the Group will be cleebrating 80 years with a specail camp in September 2010.
